Agent 86 Dies

Although the show came out way before my time, I used to love Get Smart. It was a Nick at Nite staple and a show I watched incessantly. The theme song is great too. Don Adams, who played Agent 86, died yesterday. He was 82.

Don Adams was also the voice of Inspector Gadget, who might have been as oblivious as his Get Smart character.

"Get Smart" debuted on NBC in September 1965 and scored No. 12 among the season's most-watched series and No. 22 in its second season.
